About 20 years ago, I stumbled across an ad for the Original Accujac in an old magazine and decided that I could'nt live without one. I tried calling the number on the ad and found out the number had been disconnected and there was no further information on it. I desperately wanted to place an order but after several more failed attempts at contacting the original Funways by phone and by mail (there was no internet yet) I finally gave up.

 I still wanted an Accujac and was still intrigued by the idea of a machine that would "get me off" with little or no effort on my part. I then decided that since I'm an engineer type myself that I should set out and build my own. The design of the power unit was pretty straightforward. The massaging sleeve on the other hand was quite challenging and took many attempts to get right. But finally - SUCCESS!

 In 1993 I was part of a corporate downsizing from the engineering firm I was working for. After several months of being a professional resume writer/mailer and interviewee, I decided to start marketing my new creation. I did extensive research and found that the original Accujac patents have all expired. Furthermore, I was unable to locate the original inventor named on the patent so the field was wide open to reintroduce a greatly improved product line. But what to call it? Accujac just did'nt seem right as it had already been used. At the time, the prefix "Robo" was being used with a vengence. There were "Robo" cops, "Robo" mowers, "Robo" excercize tracks.... Why not Robojac????? Hmmmm, The name just stuck....

 Robojac is a greatly improved verion of the old Accujac technology. We have received several Accujacs in trade for the new Robojac and were surprised to find out that the original Accujac used a stripped down General Motors windshield wiper motor powerd by an ordinary battery charger. It also used a large rheostat to control the speed of the motor. The motors in the units we received were quite grungy and dirty and looked like they came right out of the junk yard and went right into the Accujac. I would have at least tried to disguise it a bit by hitting it with some flat black spray paint to dress it up some. Don't get me wrong-it was a revolutionary device in it's day and the souce of the Robojac inspiration.

 The Robojac uses a brand new semi-custom DC gearmotor with an electronic speed controller. We have also improved the internal plumming and the suction/stroke control valving. This results in better control of all the suction/stroke parameters of operation over the original Accujac. The electronic speed controller gives better control over speed. It runs cooler and quiter. We have redesigned the massaging sleeves and changed the base configuration. The original Accujac sleeves were flat on the opening end. The redesigned Robojac sleeve has a rounded base design. The material is also softer and more pliable than the original. Users of the original Accujac sleeves who are now using our design say they are more comfortable than the original sleeves and the rounded base design feels better and is easier on your member...
